A few things to know.
What is Errand?
Errand is a macOS app for working with persistent AI agents. Each agent has a conversation and its own Runta cloud computer, with files and tools that stay in its workspace.
What do I need to get started?
A Mac with Apple Silicon running macOS 13 or later, a Runta account, and a model provider configured for your agents. Download the app, sign in, and create your first teammate.
What happens when I close the app?
The desktop app is a window into the cloud workspace. Closing it does not delete your agents, conversations, or files. Reopen Errand to reconnect and retrieve their latest work.
Is Errand free?
Errand’s source code is open and the app is available to download. Cloud runtime and model usage are separate and depend on your Runta and provider setup.
Is this a live agent on the website?
The interactive preview uses sample conversations and documents. It does not connect to an AI service or send messages outside this page. Download Errand to work with real agents.
